Dear (School Principal)

I just wanted to say thank you for organising for Mr D'Ath to come to Scotch Oakburn last week to spend some time with the Grade 4's.

(My daughter) was literally buzzing when she got home last night and over supper there was absolutely no way that any other family member was going to get a word in edge ways - from the origin of Justin's surname to the writer's workshops; from the 'what if' question to the eventful trip to the airport.  It really was wonderful to see and I thought as the visit's orchestrator you should know what a wonderfully positive and inspiring visit it was.

I am sure that sometimes it must be hard to organise these visits especially if the authors are based interstate but if the excited, bubbling little girl at our table is the result then it is definitely worth it. Thank you.
